The Matsui Mizunara Cask

Japanese Mizunara oak. Floral, spicy and elegant.

Type: Single Malt Whisky

Aroma: Fresh and floral with soft vanilla and delicate spice. A subtle malt sweetness blends with the characteristic aromas of Japanese Mizunara oak.

Taste: Velvety and well balanced. Oak meets cinnamon and ginger, accompanied by a delicate peppery spice and smooth caramel.

Finish: Long-lasting and harmonious with floral oak notes, vanilla and a subtle hint of tobacco.

Colour: Light amber.

Maturation: Matured for at least three years in casks made from Japanese Mizunara oak. This rare oak gives the whisky its distinctive floral spice and aromatic depth. Natural spring water from Mount Daisen is used to reduce the whisky to bottling strength.
