Type: Single Malt Whisky

Aroma: Rich and multi-layered with fresh mint, dark chocolate and aromatic cedarwood. Floral Sakura notes add an elegant Japanese accent.

Taste: Full-bodied and harmonious with malt, delicate pastry notes and honey. Citrus fruits and ripe orchard fruit bring freshness and balance, while the Sakura maturation gives the whisky a distinctive floral depth.

Finish: Smooth, long-lasting and complex with subtle nuances of dark chocolate, delicate woody spice and an elegant lingering finish.

Colour: Gold.

Maturation: Matured for five years in a single cask made from Sakura wood, the wood of the Japanese cherry tree. The extended maturation in a single cask combines floral Sakura notes with honey, citrus fruits, wood and dark chocolate to create an exceptionally complex character. Natural spring water from Mount Daisen is used to reduce the whisky to bottling strength.
